The crowning of the May Queen on the Rectory (now the Chantry) lawn in
1935. This ceremony was one of the highlights of the school year. The
new Queen was crowned by the retiring Queen. Parents and friends were
invited to watch displays of country dancing. Note the girls' white dresses,

Beilby the caretaker, preparing a room at the Parish Centre for a social
event.
Mr Frank Beilby the caretaker, in a slightly altered National School is
preparing tables and chairs for a meeting or social function in the late
1970s or early 1980s. Shows the two classrooms parallel with the main
road, the dividing screen folded back to make one large room. On the right
the door to the third classroom is visible.
