Ashlands Nursing Home
Ashlands Nursing Home, Main Street, 1991.
Formerly the Miners' Welfare Institute, and then the Tudor Ballroom. It was
later sold and was extended to the rear and renovated. The exterior was vastly
altered but still retains the mock-Tudor appearance. It was opened as a private
nursing home on 2nd April, 1991. This photo shows the front of the building,
looking west i.e. showing its east side.
